수업 시간에 안내해 드렸던 대로 Barnyard Chat은 뒤로 미루고, 이번 주 1,2,3를 한 후에는 What babies do로 넘어가도록 하겠습니다.
돌이 지나고 아기들이 상징체계에 대해 알아가면서 제일 자주 만나게 되는 것 중의 하나가 숫자입니다.
아기들의 수준도 세월에 따라 높아져서 벌써 수와 양의 개념을 이해하고 꽤 큰 수까지도 척척 따라오는 친구들이 있더라구요. 어떤 아기는 1부터 18까지 줄줄 숫자를 보고 읽어서 그 다음 수를 물었더니 곰곰이 생각하다가 옥상이라고 대답하더라구요. 알고 보니 매일 숫자를 보고 확인하던 것이 아파트 엘리베이터여서 그렇다고…
이번 시간에는 아기들과 숫자를 함께 셀 때마다 흥겹게 부를 수 있는 라임 1,2,3과 Audrey Wood의 Piggies를 만날 예정입니다. 1,2,3에서는 숫자들과 끝소리 각운을 맞추는 rhyme을 흥겹고 자연스럽게 귀로, 또 입으로 즐길 수 있도록 많이 들려 주세요. 계단을 오를내릴 때나, 과자를 먹을 때, 블럭 놀이를 할 때에도 생활에서 1,2,3,... 함께 세어주시고, 아기가 가지고 있는 곰돌이가 몇개인지, 자도차가 몇 개인지도 함께 세어보고 오시면 좋을 것 같습니다. 수업 시간, 숫자가 들어가는 많은 노래와 이야기와 함께하도록 하겠습니다.
