Mrs. Wishy-Wasy가 나오는 책이라 연우가 직접 고르더군요.

먼저 내용 궁금하신 분들을 위해 연우가 직접 읽는 책읽기 동영상 올립니다.

그리고 나서 함께한 활동입니다. ^^

1) Rhyming words 찾기

화이트보드에 단어를 쭉 적어놓고 끝소리가 같은

rhyming words를 찾아내기합니다.

정답은 chair/hair,   bed/shed,  truck, duck입니다.

2) 중요문장 익히기

이 책에서 반복되서 나오는 문장이 바로

[ It scrubbed her ~ .] 입니다.

요 문장와 해당되는 단어를 화이트보드에 적어놓고

연우가 선생님이 되어서 단어를 조합한 문장을 말하면

엄마가 학생이 되어서 문장을 지우는 게임을 했습니다.

워크북은 아직 글쓰기 안되기 때문에 연우와 그냥 말로 풀었습니다. ^^

Boy, does that sparkle? The sink is gleaming white! That’s right boys and girls. I’m cleaning my house. In fact, I can clean as good as anyone. Though I have to admit there are times that I wish I had a machine that would do all of the housework. Oh, sure there are vacuum cleaners and dishwashers and a whole list of other machines to help with housework. No. What I’m talking about is a machine that will take care of all the chores. A sort of all-purpose machine. You know, Mrs.Wishy-Washy has a machine, just like that and I’ll bet it’s wonderful. Let me set down my bucket and get ready for today’s story. It’s called ‘The Scrubbing Machine’. In a moment, our storyteller will begin from the cover of your book. If you’ll turn the page each time you hear this sound, [Diling doong], you’ll be able to follow along and learn all about the scrubbing machine. All right. From the cover, let’s get started.
